TUCSON, Ariz. - MindPlay is pleased to announce Version 3.0 of My Reading Coach,™; a new educational tool that provides actual interactive reading instruction. The new version puts more emphasis on Administrator and Teacher Management Tools to ensure student performance. The program evaluates a student and provides instruction specific to that student's needs. Forty-seven instructional lessons offer a variety of learning modalities and customized navigation paths. My Reading Coach™; uses artificial intelligence gleaned from the experience of Jim Larrabee, a 25-year veteran speech pathologist and reading teacher. The My Reading Coach™; system incorporates lessons that adapt to each student's individual needs. Lesson mastery takes a student anywhere from 10 minutes to 1 hour. Activities allow students to immediately apply what is learned. Every mistake is instantly corrected with clear feedback tailored to the error. The management system tracks student progress. This feature allows teachers to see how students are progressing and reports any mistakes they are making. These reports empower the teacher to deliver specific instruction where needed. Student Certificates are offered after each Review Test to maximize student motivation. Students can access their own Performance Report from any lesson. MindPlay's founder, Judith Bliss, developed My Reading Coach™; as a result of searching for a reading solution for her own son's problems. After a long search for a cost effective reading improvement method, Bliss joined forces with Jim Larrabee. Larrabee had been teaching speech, phonics and reading in public schools for more than 25 years. His success with students led him to publish a book entitled "Phonics Fusion," which has been used by thousands of teachers across the country.
