Fractions, Mixed Numbers
First in a series of three programs that makes the concept of a
fraction concrete through visualization and experimentation. The
Fraction-Oids care about others and use their knowledge of
fractions to share things. However, the evil Queen Grudgeon, who
doesn't like to share, has succeeded in locking up the
Fraction-Oids! The player's job as spaceship commander is to free
the Fraction-Oids. The visual experimentation approach ensures a
firm foundation for learning more advanced math concepts. The
teacher or parent can optionally turn off the game portion of the
program.
