My Reading Coach Platinum Version 1 Update

"Version 2" vs. "Version 1"
Version 2 of My Reading Coach Platinum was released in October of 2008.
Any school or school district that ordered My Reading Coach Platinum in or after October 2008 received the newer version 2.
Any school that ordered My Reading Coach Platinum before October 2008 would be using some variation of the original version 1.
Because of the significant changes in the program to accommodate changes in Windows (Windows Vista in particular), version 2 is a paid upgrade from version 1.
If you are running My Reading Coach Platinum version 1 and want version 2, please contact your MindPlay educational software representative for the upgrade pricing.

Also note: MindPlay is discontinuing support for My Reading Coach Platinum version 1 after June 30th, 2010. You will still be able to download this update, but MindPlay will no longer be providing support unless the version 2 upgrade is purchased.
Changes
The changes were mostly minor performance updates incorporated during the development of version 2. All updated feature since the release of Platinum version 1.2 are incorporated into this update.
Determining Which Update You Need
The specific update depends on which edition of My Reading Coach you are using.
If you are unsure, the fastest way to tell would be to see what comes up when you first launch the program.
If you are in My Reading Coach, exit out of it completely and then launch it again:
If the first thing it asks you to select is your SCHOOL, then you are using the WAN/Multi-site edition.
If the first thing it asks you to select is your CLASS, then you are using the Professional edition.
If the first thing it asks you to select is your NAME, then you are using the Single Student edition.
Downloading the Updates
Click on the link for the appropriate version to download the update.

Single Student Edition
Once downloaded, run that file on the computers that have My Reading Coach Platinum (version 1.2) installed.
